“ I love Empire Wok and their Vegetarian/Vegan menu. I always get a lunch special or special veggie combo. Everything is always really tasty and hot. Service is typically reasonable when calling ahead and even walk in. Typical hole in the wall spot. Definitely one of my faves. ”

If you are looking for a Chinese restaurant that has a solid variety of vegetable items that are vegetarian friendly but also compatible to traditional dishes like sweet and sour chicken, beef and broccoli and so on than this is a great little place. Prices are fair and even better, the speed of preparation is fantastic. They usually have the food ready within 10 minutes. Every time I have called in a order for pickup from five minutes away and driven there the food is already ready. ”
“ Empire Wok in Delmar, NY is a great place traditional Chinese take out and has a huge variety of plant-based options. When you arrive in the restaurant they have two menus on the counter, one regular menu and one "Vegetarian menu". I have looked at the ingredients of many of the vegetarian options because they post the packaging of many of the products on the wall and for the most part it all looks vegan friendly though they advertise it as vegetarian. We enjoy the Veggie BBQ Pork with vegetables, Vegetable Lo Mein, Vegetable Fried Rice, Veggie Sesame Chicken, and Vegetable Egg rolls. With so many options on the menu we will continue to try new items. ”
